Brixton-born artist, rapper, and producer GAIKA is releasing his forthcoming album Drift - the most stylistically accurate representation of his personal tastes to date.
GAIKA's sound spans grime, dancehall, R&B, electronic, and much more, often featuring political commentary in his lyrics. Described by Dazed as "electronic music's answer to Basquiat", GAIKA has a diverse portfolio of musical releases and art installations to his name and has also been appointed as Dazed’s political editor. Having first garnered attention in 2015 with his debut mixtape, "Machine", GAIKA has since released a string of acclaimed records, including "BASIC VOLUME" and "Seguridad". The new album Drift is an ensemble record with GAIKA as the central author working with collaborators bbymutha, KIDÄ, Azekel, Charlie Stacey, Chamber 45, Brbko, The Narrator (Amber Joy), SAMANTHA, and more.
