Futuro Pelo is the radical, uncompromising project of Benjamin Sportès, an iconic figure on the alternative scene since the early 1980s. After fifteen years with Sporto Kantes performing on legendary stages and at festivals, he left Paris for Brussels. Futuro Pelo offers an explosive sonic fusion of rock'n'roll, electro, garage, punk and pop - unclassifiable music driven by a visceral need to play. Drawing inspiration from the intensity of Nick Cave, the Stooges or Genesis Owusu, its sound is direct, physical and uncompromising.
