Description

Born from a long-distance correspondence, the songs of Fuses are signals seeking to create a connection across oceans. Drawing inspiration from 1960s folk rock and classic country, Fuses paints a striking picture linking the Swedish sea urchin to the Canadian bog, the broken heart to the stalled engine. Drummer and bassist Moa-Linn Rösenlof (Orkan, Spela Död) met guitarist Craig Fahner for the first time when his Toronto band, Motorists, performed in Gothenburg in 2024. Since then, they have been writing and recording a series of songs with lush vocal harmonies and reverb-drenched steel guitar, creating a sound that is both timeless and singular, melancholic and hopeful.
