Funkindustry

Description

The French group Funkindustry draws its vitality from the variety and mix of 20th-century African American music. Flavorfully combining the raw and catchy gimmicks of funk with the smooth melodies of R'n'B, and tapping into the sensuality of jazz-funk music, Funkindustry has one guiding principle: the groove!
In 2020, Funkindustry's music traveled around the world through locking and all the way to the Japan Dance Delight (national hip hop dance competition). A collaboration then began between the group and 65 Japanese and Korean dancers around the first single "Gimme All You Got" released in April 2021.
The second single "Rock This Night," released on June 4, further shapes the sound of the upcoming album "Funkindustry" set to be released in fall 2021.
