Live On The Boffomundo Show

Description

Unique performances by the Japanese Fumio Miyashita recorded during the All Ears Boffomundo Show, a California TV show aired between 1979 and 1981, produced by Ron Curtis, Aaron Weiner, and Tony Harrington of All Ears Records, which featured a number of Japanese artists on its roster. The show was able to host the legendary Fumio Miyashita several times. A founding member of the Far East Family Band (described as 'Japan's answer to Pink Floyd'), Fumio drew much of his influence from the electronic and krautrock scenes in Germany and from bands such as Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Temple, and Kraftwerk. Always at the forefront of technological advancements in instruments and considered at the time as one of the greatest synthesizer experts, two of his performances are now immortalized on this vinyl, which includes on side A parts 1 to 3 of his appearance on October 30, 1979, and on side B his performance from March 18, 1980. Vinyl version 1 LP. Download coupon included.
