Fu30 Volume I-III/Silver Vinyl/Official Black Friday Edition
Description
The ultimate collection of the vinyl series for the 30th anniversary of Fu Manchu, Fu30, Volume I-III, includes not only the 9 songs from the limited edition 10" releases over the past two years but also a bonus track from Scott Hill's new mix of their cover of "Working Man" by Rush. The band recorded this song in January 2020 in tribute to Neil Peart and released it digitally only, with proceeds going to brain tumor research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. This limited edition of 2000 copies is presented in a double platinum jacket with embossing, spot varnish, and includes a double-sided insert with illustrations from the original 10" series and new photos. Like the band's last album, Clone Of The Universe, these songs were recorded at the Racket Room in Santa Ana, California, by Jim Monroe (Adolescents, Ignite) and co-produced with Fu Manchu. In addition to the 6 new original songs, the set includes the band's unique version of "Takin' It To The Streets" by the Doobie Brothers, "My Wave" by the Surf Punks, and "A Million Miles Away" by the Plimsouls, featuring the vocals of Neil Fallon from Clutch.
