Description

Frizzy P & Mr Cole form a trip hop duo blending old school hip hop, jazz, and analog sounds. Their intimate and melancholic music has earned them growing recognition on the independent scene. Frizzy P, a singer with an enchanting voice, and Mr Cole, a beatmaker passionate about vintage sounds, have been collaborating since 2015. Their first EP, *Ladi Dadi* (2017), achieved underground success with millions of streams and airplay on BBC Music 6 and FIP. In 2023, they continued with *Ladi Dadi II*, deepening their musical universe. In 2024, they released the mixtape *The Backroom Tape*, before concluding the trilogy with *Ladi Dadi III* in April 2025. This final installment will feature six new tracks blending melancholy and raw emotions. Their live performances include shows in France and internationally. For 2025, they plan an enhanced live setup with new musicians. Their unique approach to modern and timeless trip hop ensures them a growing place in the musical landscape. On the B-side, you will find a selection of hits from their mixtape *The Backroom Tape*, previously unreleased in physical format.
