After reissuing his album Here Am I (2013) and releasing the previously secret concept album Gang War in 2015, the label Million Dollar Performances completes its mission with Almost Los t to bring to light the work of one of the most talented and enigmatic pop stars of the 70s-80s: American Frederick Michael St. Jude. This maxi contains the last 6 tracks still never reissued from his recordings at the Florida studio SRS International Recording for the Soul Deep label. Under a flamboyant and laid-back charm, the smooth, rounded rhythms ripple along while the guitars and keyboards paint colorful lines with great precision. But it is Frederick Michael St. Jude, his voice and his David Bowie-inspired melodies, that shine at the center of this show. Limited pressing with very beautiful packaging including 2 unique sleeves reflecting St. Jude’s unique artistic vision and an insert featuring an autobiographical text.
