Im Weltenraum

Description

A space music of an exceptional and extraordinary kind: as one might expect when two shop-window mannequins leave their store in Karlsruhe (Germany) with the idea of going to see places they have never been to before. “Im Weltenraum,” as they call their new album, is the next step for Fred und Luna in their ever-evolving series of elektrokraut music. A charming and fascinating journey through an endless universe of hallucinatory soundscapes, successive rhythms, catchy melodies, and even a parallel trip into the world of acid house. After their album “Glück Auf” on Optimo Music, where they began with a journey through motorik, followed by a trip into an atmospheric yet spirited sonic paradise on their album “Im Klanggarten” (Bigamo), an intoxicating journey into deep blue zones on “Im Tiefenrausch” (Compost Records), and a tribal dancefloor corner on “Im Tanzrausch” (Compost), Fred und Luna are now following in the footsteps of the spatial, of unknown worlds and temporalities, accompanied by Patrick Pulsinger, both mixmaster and mastering master.
