Flux Flou de la Foule is the brand new album from one of the international icons of French pop. She has been compared to Françoise Hardy of the '60s, to Nico of the Velvet Underground. Others have placed her alongside Marianne Faithfull or Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits or Nick Cave, but unlike them, Françoiz Breut sings in French. She grew up in Cherbourg and now lives in Brussels. She appeared in 1993 on Dominique A's second album and released her first record in 1997. She has co-written, sung, and shared the stage with artists like Yann Tiersen, Calexico, Katerine, Philippe Poirier (Kat Onoma), Adrian Utley (Portishead), and François & The Atlas Mountains.
