Françoise Hardy has never hidden her dislike for her first and unalterable hit, "All the boys and the girls," which she finds cheesy. However, it gives its title to this landmark album of an extraordinary career of integrity and beauty, spanning over fifty years. As was customary at the time, the album is a compilation of Super 45s, which, uniquely for her generation, she writes and composes entirely by herself, with the exception of an adaptation of Jil and Jan, "Oh Oh Chéri," and "The Time of Love," credited to Dutronc and Lucien Morisse.
