Fragile: After the enormous success of his previous album, Les Chemins de traverse, and his ambassador hit "Je l'aime à mourir," Francis Cabrel continues on his triumphant path with this 3rd album originally released on May 21, 1980. The album sold over 1 million copies at the time and was certified Diamond Disc. Significantly more rock, but still very sentimental, the album confirmed the originality and richness of a talent in full bloom, with 11 tracks of beautiful diversity: It contains a good number of the singer's essential songs, including L'encre de tes yeux, La dame de Haute-Savoie, and Je pense encore à toi, all three having been released as singles. The album reached the second place on the French charts, stayed in the top 10 for ten weeks, and remained ranked for 55 weeks!
