« Precious Little Diamond » is a song by the Dutch funk group Fox the Fox, originally released in 1984. The single reached number 5 on the charts in Germany and the United States and became a hit in France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Belgium. George Michael, a big fan of the track, introduced the group to CBS Records in 1984. Dieter Bohlen, from the group Modern Talking, has been cited as an inspiration for the use of falsetto choruses in his songs. In 2013, the song was sampled in the track « Wanderlust » by The Weeknd. The latter sampled the melody, the original chorus, and part of the lyrics. This maxi 45 RPM includes remixes by Shep Pettibone and Ben Liebrand. The audio has been remastered at Artone studios and pressed on 45 RPM. This is a limited edition of 500 copies on transparent vinyl.
