V - Clear Vinyl

Description

Föllakzoid grows by seeking to fill longer stretches of time with fewer and fewer elements with each album. And as the best techno, kraut, and psych have proven over time, sometimes the most minimal framework is the most transcendent. This is what Föllakzoid has achieved with V, an immersive opus that takes the listener on a captivating journey to the dancefloor. The band's creative perspective has always been to dismantle the narrative, musical, and visual paradigms that shape physical and digital conceptions. As a creative project of queer and trans artist Domingæ, the band has had a unique experience in the psychedelic rock scene. Unlike Föllakzoid's previous albums, which were recorded in a single take with the entire group, V required a month of work. The guitars, bass, drums, synths, and vocals were all recorded separately, and producer AtomTM, who was not present during the recording, was later tasked with rearranging the four sequences without any restrictions on length, structure, or guidelines.
