"Aime la vie" is a return to basics, to what matters most. This inner journal, Florent Pagny recorded entirely at home, in Patagonia, a land of freedom. With his family. It is his nephew Mathias Giunta who wrote most of the songs for him. The old hands are there: Daran, the magician behind "Là où je t'emmènerai", and writer Emmanuelle Cosso. Here, the simple things in life are discussed, along with the world around us, which we sometimes struggle to open our eyes to. This is the Florent we love, the one who pushes us to feel, to open up, to be happy. In the CD + DVD reissue, 1 bonus track is included, "Du bruit avec la bouche", as well as a lovely 26-minute documentary on the making of this album with all the contributors (Jean Reno, Daran, Anne Sila...) and 4 music videos, including 2 unreleased ones.
