With Mobil Home, his seventh studio album, created between Tunisia, France, and Belgium, Florent Marchet continues a unique body of work, at the crossroads of song, social narrative, and a sound research in motion. Written first in La Marsa, in the suburbs of Tunis, this album born from a geographical, intimate, and artistic shift bears the mark of a new life. The meeting with Belgian producer Xavier de Maere marks a turning point: acoustic materials are deconstructed, filtered, and reworked, to favor textures and sound experiences rather than frontal naturalism.
Crossed by contemporary themes, Mobil Home nevertheless escapes the monochrome of gray. A glow circulates in this nomadic album, bright and anxious at the same time, where the conviction remains that it is still possible to laugh and love in a wobbly world. He will be on tour throughout France and in concert at La Cigale on December 16, 2026.
