Description

The Rumours tour by Fleetwood Mac took place after the release of the band's eleventh studio album in February 1977. Due to the enormous success of the album, Fleetwood Mac embarked on a worldwide tour in North America, Europe, their home UK, Japan, and Oceania. The Japanese leg of the tour took place in December 1977, by which time the band had been on the road for nearly a year, but the concerts they gave in Japan, which took place between the 1st and the 5th of the month, with their last show in the country held at Nippon Budokan in the capital on December 5, were fascinating. A stunning performance took place in Tokyo, which drove the Japanese audience wild. The bonuses here come from Fleetwood Mac's television appearance on Midnight Special recorded 18 months earlier, for a live television broadcast on April 8, 1976.
