2 new remastered editions available: 3CD Deluxe Edition & 2 vinyl Deluxe Edition Recorded primarily during the Tusk world tour and released in December 1980, FLEETWOOD MAC LIVE is the band's first live album, captured at the height of their popularity. It features stunning versions of the hits "Dreams," "Go Your Own Way," "Rhiannon," and "Don't Stop." The 3CD Deluxe edition offers this legendary double live album in remastered version on 2CD and on a third more than an hour of unreleased live versions recorded between 1977 and 1982 (including the tracks "Tusk," "Gold Dust Woman," "Songbird," and "The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown)" written in 1970 by guitarist Peter Green). The 2 vinyl Deluxe edition offers the double live album in remastered version. When Fleetwood Mac released their first live album in December 1980, it captured the most iconic lineup of the legendary band on stage, showcasing the full extent of their collective creative powers. Recorded primarily during the Tusk world tour, Fleetwood Mac Live delivered a double album of exhilarating performances including huge hits like "Dreams" and "Go Your Own Way," "Rhiannon," and "Don't Stop." In April 2021, Rhino gave the band's beginnings a well-deserved reminder with a new collection of 3 CD/2 LP that includes a remastered version of the original as well as more than an hour of unreleased live music recorded between 1977 and 1982. Following this, Rhino will make the newly remastered live album available on double vinyl on June 25, 2021. This Super Deluxe edition is presented in a 12 x 12 hardcover case and comes with a booklet filled with rare photos, a complete itinerary for the Tusk Tour, as well as a history of the live album by writer David Wild. He writes: "Yesterday and today, Fleetwood Mac Live skillfully marks a fascinating period for a band that, in one form or another, has been on the world stage for over half a century... It's extremely entertaining rock 'n' roll. The circus is in full swing under a big tent of the band's own making as they leave the audience dazzled in venues ranging from Paris, France, to Passaic, New Jersey." The majority of the original album was recorded live between 1979 and 1980, with a few exceptions: "Don't Let Me Down Again" was recorded in 1975 during Fleetwood Mac's tour; "Dreams" and "Don't Stop" are from the band's sound check in Paris; while "Fireflies," "One More Night," and a cover of "Farmer's Daughter" by the Beach Boys were all recorded in California during a special show for the band's crew, family, and friends. The 14 live tracks making their debut on the Super Deluxe edition cover a wider time span than those of the original version. They include seven songs from the Tusk tour (1979-80), four from the Rumors tour (1977), and three from the Mirage tour (1982). These stellar additions include live versions of "Tusk," "Gold Dust Woman," and "Songbird," as well as "The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown)" - a song written in 1970 by guitarist Peter Green, who founded Fleetwood Mac with Mick Fleetwood and Jeremy Spencer in 1967.
