It's A Joy To Be Alive is the third album by the British folk/pop duo Ferris & Sylvester. Through 11 tracks, they explore joy and hope at the heart of trials, inspired by their life as musicians, as a couple, and as parents. The album marks an evolution of their sound - vocal harmonies, catchy guitars, a blend of softness and roughness - with a 70s pop touch reminiscent of Bacharach or The Carpenters.
