Truth Is The New Gold

Description

Feral Five’s dazzling debut album, "Truth Is The New Gold", is an evocative journey into a future city of the Feraltropolis type, and a sonic elixir for the heart, feet and mind. Guiding us through secret spaces, shifting skies, personal truths and revelations, the Ferals move fluidly between bold alt pop, experimental electronica and cinematic landscapes. With acclaimed singles and EPs, and radio play on BBC 6 Music and Radio X X-Posure to their name, the Ferals have now signed with independent label Reckless Yes to take us on a deeper emotional journey with "Truth Is The New Gold". On this sparkling album, Feral Five’s layered songs and hook-laden grooves use a unique palette of tools and instruments, both hyper-modern and ancient. From AI vocals to live-coded sounds, to strings and played quartz crystals, through to electronics, synths and guitars intricately woven into one another. Constantly reinventing their sound, the Ferals have created their own sonic world, but one we can all relate to, examining the challenges of life in a 21st century that could not be invented.
