Wake Me When It's Over is the second album by Faster Pussycat, released in 1989. On this album, the sordid Hollywood band (whose name was taken from a Russ Meyer film) moved away from the glam metal of their first album to a sound more influenced by blues. It features the powerful ballad "House of Pain," which was the band's first major commercial success; the music video was directed by future filmmaker Michael Bay.
