The Memphis quintet's second album, recorded in January 2014 by Doug Easley. Midnight Passenger delivers a coherent set of ten songs that feature Ex-Cult's trademark circular-saw guitars, krautrock rhythms, and sneering vocals, but also an unprecedented touch of psychedelia. Ty Segall recorded this track at his home in Los Angeles in early 2013, and it appears on the Midnight Passenger album. This 45 also features an alternative version with Zumi Rosow on saxophone. Ex-Cult + Ty Segall = psychedelic brutality.
