"Chroma", the 4th album by Eugene McGuinness, follows the self-titled album released in 2008, "Glue" (2009), and "The Invitation To The Voyage" (2012). The 11 tracks that make up the album were recorded and produced by Dan Carey, in his south London studio, with the participation of one of the best rhythm sections in the UK: Tom and Leo from The Invisible. "I wanted to record a more direct album, built around a simple guitar," Eugene explains. The result is a more spontaneous record than its predecessor (The Invitation To The Voyage), attesting to the timeless songwriting talent of its author.
