Reserection is a mini-album (EP) resulting from the collaboration of Étienne Daho with the English band Saint Etienne, released on September 29, 1995. A few months before the album's release, a rumor announced that Étienne Daho had died of AIDS. This episode marked the singer but did not make him lose his humor, as he decided that this collaboration would be called St Etienne Daho and the album 'Reserection' (a play on words between "resurrection" and "erection"). "X Amours", "Le Baiser français" and "Jungle Pulse" (performed here by Étienne Daho) are adaptations of Saint Etienne's tracks, respectively; "Paper", "Suburban Autumn Lieutenant" and "Filthy". "Accident" (performed here by Saint Etienne) is an adaptation of the single "Week end à Rome". This track would be remixed by Steve Rodway and would have another life under the title "He's on the Phone", which would allow it to reach the top of the English charts.
