Mars Is A Ten

Description

ESP Summer's debut album, Mars Is A Ten, released in 1995. "Recorded in 1994 in Livonia, Michigan, by Ian Masters (Pale Saints) and Warren Defever (His Name Is Alive), both members of the 4AD label. The album combines Masters' sweet choirboy voice with his and Defever's minimal guitar pop stylings, with strange, spicy flourishes at times. In its simplest, least affected form, ESP Summer sounds wonderfully, beautifully fragile."
