Rare Deep Purple-related release. Wainwright’s Gentlemen were regulars on the West London club and pub circuit in 1964 and 1965. The tracks featured here were recorded at Jackson Sound Studios in Rickmansworth in February 1965 with Ian Gillan and Ann Cully on vocals. A later incarnation of Wainwright’s Gentlemen included future Sweet members Brian Connolly, Frank Torpey, and Mick Tucker.
