Pantoum

Description

I dove into reading poetry collections, in search of emotions and comfort. Some poems became my guides on an inner journey. The appetite for joy of their authors, their anger, their fumblings, their quest for beauty, for faith as well, were also mine. Their humor and wisdom, like so many invitations to love deeply. I was able to recognize in the poems of these men and women, sometimes born a hundred years before my birth, my own needs for forgiveness, desires for celebrations and love.
This album brings together a part of the music, songs, and texts from the concert.
For these recorded versions, some arrangements differ slightly from those designed for the stage; the context calling for a different energy.
