Description

Emma Ruth Rundle is a multifaceted musician, equally capable of dreamy abstraction, maximalist textual explorations, and more traditional guitar interpretations. The second installment of Emma Ruth Rundle's Electric Guitar series, EG2: Dowsing Voice, takes the form of a soundtrack for a film that was never made. The album, over 40 minutes long and primarily instrumental, was stitched together from recordings made during her solo month-long journey in the early days of 2020 and completed even before the critically acclaimed album Engine of Hell from 2021 was written. While the focus is on voice and narrative, her textured and even grandiloquent guitar improvisations are present throughout the album. It will only be available for download on Bandcamp and on vinyl.
