After being out of stock for a number of years, we are making 15 titles from our Elvis Presley catalog available again between August 2025 and February 2026. Each title will have two different editions: one on standard color vinyl and the other very limited on mixed color marbled vinyl, both housed in luxury sleeves with a linen look and feel. That's The Way It Is is Elvis's 12th studio album, consisting of eight studio tracks recorded at RCA Studios in Nashville and four songs performed live at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. It accompanied the theatrical release of the eponymous documentary film, although it is generally not considered a soundtrack album. Just a few months after the release of the record, Elvis would begin his long-running concert at the International Hotel, marking the start of his highly mythologized Vegas period, symbolized by his lavish jumpsuits. Although he recorded many more great songs afterward, it was with this album that he was able to capitalize on his comeback in 1968.
