Description

Demon Music presents the reissue of "Electribal Memories", a house music anthem. Formed when Hamburg-born, London-based singer Billie Ray Martin, a member of the group S'Express, met four musicians and producers from Birmingham, Electribe 101 instantly found a sound heavily influenced by the deep house sounds of Chicago and Detroit, but with a distinctive European touch. With Billie Ray's captivating voice, the group was immediately signed by Mercury Records and taken under the wing of Tom Watkins, the manager of the Pet Shop Boys.
