By combining indie rock, with a hardcore attitude and an orchestral approach, EF captures the magic of post-rock. They have expanded their sonic palette enormously with this album (most tracks contain vocals, and even screams!), while remaining true to their charismatic sonic formula for which we love them. With a host of immediately memorable melodies and truly sublime compositions, the four from Gothenburg have once again delivered a shattering experience of melancholy and glorious nostalgia; an album that lives up to the classics that inspired them.
