In over a decade of existence, EDITORS has offered the public a wide panorama of musical experiments, materialized in four albums with a raw and eclectic style. *In Dream* is, in many respects, the legitimate continuation of *In This Light And On This Evening*, the 2009 UK number one album that marked EDITORS' first shift towards a broader musical palette. For their fifth studio album, EDITORS takes electronic experimentation even further, directly drawing from their characteristic post-punk influences. This results in an expanded musical palette where traditional guitars, basses, and drums meet atmospheric synths as well as dub and dance beats. A variety of atmospheres has been added, stemming from the worlds of ambient and neoclassical music, as well as, in a very EDITORS style, pop sensibilities of all kinds, from new and old sounds of the 1980s British pop explosion to the unusual hip hop worlds of The Weeknd.
