Ed Wynne, visionary, prodigious symphonist, one of the UK's most influential musicians,
is undeniably a talented instrumentalist. Ozric Tentacles – formed at the Stonehenge Free Festival in 1983 – became a Glastonbury Festival highlight, with their last performance in 2016. With an incredible knack for creating masterful and complex sounds and having sold over a million albums worldwide, Ed Wynne’s debut solo album on Kscope will soon appeal to psychedelic synth and rock fans.
Shimmer Into Nature was inspired by and recorded during Ed Wynne's travels over three years: the depths of the Colorado mountains, the Cornish coastline, and South Devon. The recording finished on the Firth of Forth, the river on Scotland's East Coast. 'Shimmer Into Nature' is a five-track journey through magical instrumental guitar, hypnotic rhythms, and electronic textures. It showcases Ed's talent as a guitarist, keyboardist, and programmer.
The music was written, programmed, mixed, and performed by Ed and mastered by Adam Goodlet at Re: Creation studios. The artwork and visuals were designed by the prolific English psychedelic illustrator John Hurford.
