Most recently, the multi-platinum trio Echosmith released their sparkling pop anthem "Lonely Generation". The siblings are finally announcing a new studio album for January 10, 2020! The American indie pop trio consists of siblings Sydney (vocals, keyboards), Noah (vocals, bass), and Graham Sierota (drums) and is known for their melodic, new-wave-influenced hit "Cool Kids", which achieved platinum status in three countries and reached the top 10 of singles and airplay charts in Germany. Their debut album "Talking Dreams" also earned gold status in the United States, followed by the EP "Inside A Dream". At the same time, singer Sydney increasingly became a role model and cultural figure for her generation - she was, among other things, a brand ambassador for Coach, designed her own collection for Hollister, and accompanied Taylor Swift in a duet on stage. "Lonely Generation" is the first single and title track of the new album. The song originated from a conversation about the difficulty of getting to know each other in real life and having real relationships, and feeling lonely and isolated in our hyper-connected digital world. The song is meant to serve as a reminder to focus more on real-life relationships with each other. In 2018, the three siblings founded their own label, Echosmith Music LLC, and have since enjoyed the freedom and independence that comes with their work. The album was produced in their studio in Los Angeles by their father Jeffrey David, who has worked with artists such as Seal and Zedd. With "Lonely Generation," the trio finds its way "back to its roots," explains singer Sydney. With vintage synthesizers, bright piano melodies, and inventive guitar sounds, they give the new album the framework in which they artistically collect and process their experiences from recent years.
