It's quite hard to believe at first listen that we are here in the presence of four instruments. The arrangements are so clever, and the interpretations subtle, that it could be the double of instruments! But a careful listen reveals that only a trumpet, an alto sax, a piano, and the drums are at work, with no help from electronics. The music is that of a sophisticated small swing ensemble, with a judicious selection of original compositions and tracks from the great swing era. Without any nostalgia, with a resolutely modern and enthusiastic approach, the group formed in 1997 keeps alive the legend and the flame of the legendary "Swing Era."
