The Canadian band EarthBall unveils its third album Outside Over There with Upset The Rhythm, recorded live in a basement in Nanaimo. The quintet explores a wild and hallucinatory improvised music, more about discovery than composition. Mixed by John Brennan and mastered by John Dieterich (Deerhoof), the album includes notes from John Olson (Wolf Eyes) and a guest appearance by Stewart Lee on the opening track "100%". Through eight tracks, the band blends feedback, saxophone, and vocals in intense psychedelic landscapes, culminating with "And The Music Shall Untune The Sky". With a variety of collaborations, EarthBall establishes itself as a pillar of Canadian musical experimentation.
