Dye Crap’s second album, Life Is Unfair, was conceived as a direct way to connect with their audience. They sought authenticity, navigating between the carefree spirit of lost adolescence and the turmoil of young adults confronting the absurdity of the world. The album was composed near Évreux and recorded in the middle of a heatwave over a week in Antoine “Tonio” Kopp’s studio in Le Havre. Fueled by Swiss bread and soda, the four boys took the time to add subtle acoustic guitars and synthesizers to this saturated party anthem that is Life Is Unfair. They then enlisted the expert hands of Thierry Minot for mixing and mastering to best convey the band's ambitions. Pressed on beer-colored vinyl.
