Perfil, Dulce Pontes' new album, represents a return to her roots, to the artists and stories that inspire her, and the beginning of a new era in her discography. It includes the track Amapola, a traditional 1920s song by José María Lacalle García, performed for the first time entirely in Portuguese.
Produced by Dulce Pontes and co-produced by Cuban musician Yelsy Heredia, this exciting album is one of the artist's most personal projects. It spans fado and Portuguese popular music, and expands its horizons to jazz and Latin music.
