Description

The 20th anniversary of James Stinson's death and the release of the Transllusion and Shifted Phases albums. As a tribute, the rights holders, their families, and the label commissioned contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison, based in Detroit, to create a new design for the covers of the Tresor albums related to Drexciya. These editions will be released sequentially, every two months, starting in early September 2022. Only one month after the release of the album "Neptune's Lair" in September, its counterpart, the 12-inch "Hydro Doorways," will be the second in the series, available on October 7. In November, "Harnessed The Storm" and "Digital Tsunami" will follow, then "Transllusion." The series will conclude at the end of March with the long-awaited reissue of "Shifted Phases - The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope." These records, individually and collectively, represent some of the most significant moments in the history of the Tresor label, with the sound and mythical universe of Drexciya having undoubtedly inspired generations.
