Since the release in 2015 of Drab Majesty's debut album, Careless, and their second album The Demonstration the following year, artist Deb Demure and her collaborator Mona D. have firmly established themselves among the pantheon of dark synth-pop greats, building a devoted fan base worldwide with their singular hypnotic sound and ever-evolving mysterious presence. Released in 2019, Modern Mirror is a journey of self-reflection, nostalgia, love, beauty, and heartbreak told through eight addictive and emotional synth-pop anthems – a classic tale delivered through the prism of the modern world.
