Description

The music of Dot Hacker is architectural, built on bold and intricate sounds, supported by rich and eclectic textures and an angular rhythm. The enigmatic sound of the band is the result of the collaboration of its friends and founding members: Josh Klinghoffer, Clint Walsh, Eric Gardner, and Jonathan Hischke. Before forming Dot Hacker in 2008, these four musicians were already recognized, having recorded and toured with an impressive list of renowned artists, including: Beck, Gnarls Barkley, PJ Harvey, Charlotte Gainsbourg, The Butthole Surfers, and Broken Bells. Klinghoffer, the band's singer, is also the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
