The Scottish singer Donovan embraced the folk wave of the 1960s that swept across England and America. He gained international fame at the age of eighteen. In 1965, Fairytale, his second studio album, was released, sowing the seeds of his future style. It already revealed the jazz sounds and descriptions of London life that Donovan would explore over the next two years. Fairytale includes his hits "Colours," "Universal Soldier," and "Jersey Thursday." Fairytale is available in a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on transparent vinyl.
