""CATS WITHOUT CLAWS"", originally released in 1984, is the third album by Donna Summer released on Geffen Records. It was produced by Michael Omartian, who had previously produced the artist's single ""She Works Hard For The Money"" released a year earlier. Michael Omartian gave the album the dance and pop sound typical of the mid-1980s, which once again succeeded in showcasing Donna's talents. The album notably includes the singles « Supernatural Love », « There Goes My Baby » and « Eyes ».To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its release, Driven By Music presents a version with 5 remixed tracks, notably by Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Brothers in Rhythm) as well as lesser-known tracks and versions by Donna not appearing on the original album, "Face The Music" and "Eyes [Extended Mix].This remastered edition, gatefold and Hot Pink & White colored vinyl, includes the lyrics of the tracks and an essay written by American writer Christian John Wikane. This essay contains, among other things, unpublished and archive interviews with Michael Omartian and Donna's husband and musician, Bruce Sudano.
