Description

Surrounded by his friends, in this album, the artist revisits the emblematic tracks of his career. After having performed on stages across France, including major festivals such as Les Vieilles Charrues, Les Francofolies, Les Transmusicales... with his band, Dominic Sonic was one of the most iconic artists of the French rock scene. In recent times, he had chosen to perform his songs on stage solo, accompanied by his guitars, with a primarily acoustic set drawn from his 6 albums. Charmed during one of these concerts, his production team suggested producing an album of songs from his repertoire, in the same spirit. Enthusiastic about the project, Dominic Sonic decided to invite his friends to record it. Sansévérino, Mona Soyoc, Didier Wampas, Laetitia Shériff, Daniel Pabœuf, Olivier Mellano, and even Mike Watt gladly participated with the same enthusiasm. Simply called "acoustic," this album, produced in 2020 by Dominic and his loyal drummer and sound engineer Romain Baousson, proves to be one of his best. The artist reveals himself as he is, and it's magnificent.
