DJANGO DJANGO are no newcomers. The English quartet, formed in 2009 and signed to BECAUSE, released their acclaimed debut album "DJANGO DJANGO" in 2012 to well-known success. They now return to headline the famous and prestigious "LATENIGHT TALES" compilation series, following artists like MGMT, FOUR TET, ARCTIC MONKEYS, and many others. Their unique and psychedelic approach is evident in the selection for this LATE NIGHT TALES, which, as a reminder, asks artists to select their favorite nocturnal tracks. It includes tracks by CANNED HEAT, MASSIVE ATTACK, TNGHT, MAP OF AFRICA, PHILIP GLASS, and many other world-class artists. Also included is a new and exclusive track from the band, "Porpoise Song," a cover of THE MONKEES. Additionally, it features a spoken word piece by BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH, star actor of the English series SHERLOCK and more recently of "12 YEARS A SLAVE," which won Oscars in 2014.
