Moins on en sait, mieux c'est

Description

Version française de l'album, tout le livret est en français It's very early in 1983 that he discovers a passion for hip-hop, a rare thing at the time for a White person. In the early 90s, while Josh "Shadow" Davis is still in high school, he begins to produce his first mixes. He is quickly contacted by the label Mo'Wax. His first album Endtroducing will follow in 1996. It receives particularly strong acclaim, praised both by critics and the public. For the first time, an entire album is composed from musical samples taken from other records. This album becomes a true reference in the rising field of abstract hip-hop. His second album, "The Private Press," will be released in June 2002. In 2004, a CD/DVD "Live In Tune And On Time" is released, recorded in London. The concept for DJ Shadow was to create an original show (with video projection to illustrate his ideas) where he could reconstruct his tracks live. DJ Shadow releases "The Outsider" in September 2006, a record showcasing many hip-hop talents, including rappers E-40 and Keak da Sneak. Outside of his solo work, there are numerous contributions to side projects, notably with DJ Krush (Duality, Meiso), Massive Attack (Karmacoma).
