Shades Of Yesterday

Description

The Grammy-nominated producer and musician DJ Harrison is back with a new album, Shades of Yesterday.
This album features DJ Harrison's unique interpretations of some of his most cherished songs, recorded and produced by himself over several years in his home studio in Richmond, Virginia.
Recorded over several years and mostly alone in his home studio in Richmond, the album includes covers of Stevie Wonder, Gary Wilson, Donald Fagen (Steely Dan), and even a track from the group Syntax - a song recommended to DJ Harrison by Tyler, The Creator! The founder of the label Stones Throw, Chris Manak (a.k.a. Peanut Butter Wolf), also sings on the cover of "Tomorrow Never Knows" by The Beatles.
