Frontwoman Katie Monks describes the songs as a survival kit and a statement of faith in the power of music. 'Heaven' is the new album by Dilly Dally and was recorded with producer Rob Schapf (Elliott Smith, Beck), and is imbued with a true rock energy, with raspy vocals and frantic rhythms, giving the melodies a brutal character. Monks and guitarist Liz Ball, who formed the band in college, have always produced rock influenced by the 90s grunge, now accompanied by bassist Jimmy Tony and drummer Benjamin Reinhartz, the two girls renew their influences and return with a new album of explosive rock.
