The American alternative rock band Dig was formed in 1991 in Los Angeles, as singer Scott Hackwith had previously produced for the Ramones, among others. They recorded their self-titled debut album in 1993 in collaboration with Dave Jerden, who is well known for producing bands such as Alice in Chains and Anthrax. The first single "Believe" reached the Billboard charts, followed by "I'll Stay High" and "Unlucky Friend." "Believe" remains their most popular track to this day. To promote the album, Dig toured with artists like Prong and Blind Melon. Dig is being reissued for the first time since its original release and includes an insert.
