Dexter Gordon signed 'Our Man In Paris' in 1963, a timeless masterpiece, often considered the last great bebop album. After his sublime 'GO!' and 'A Swingin’ Affair', the great saxophonist exiled himself to Europe for 14 years.
Alongside the legendary Bud Powell (piano), Kenny Clarke (drums), and Pierre Michelot (bass), he recorded a selection of standards and bebop pillars in Paris, notably "Scrapple from the Apple", "A Night In Tunisia", "Willow Weep for Me", and "Stairway to the Stars".
